Reading a bill or document you upload
Available now
Wisemium reads what it can, shows you, and asks you to confirm before anything counts. If it cannot read a document, you tell it what the document is and everything after that works the same.
How Wisemium works
How a bill is read, what Wisemium knows against what it is only assuming, and what each part of it does today. For guides to your actual bills, see Guides.
Wisemium is building a place where your whole financial life can be understood, watched and acted on. Some of that you can use now. Some of it is coming. Here is which is which, with nothing listed that you cannot actually do.

Available now
What you pay for, what it costs and when it renews.
Available now
For anything you have given Wisemium a date for. It will say a date is unknown rather than invent one.

Wise Assistant works from what you have confirmed, and can show you why it raised something.
Available now
Including more than one job at once. Wisemium explains and checks, and points you to HMRC for anything that needs changing.
Available now
Wise Vault. Deleting a document keeps the figures you confirmed, marked as confirmed by you.

Wisemium never holds your money. A goal is something it helps you track, not an account.
Coming later
Deliberately. Doing it today would mean sending the whole payslip, including your National Insurance number and any printed bank details, to an outside service. You type the figures instead, which takes a couple of minutes.
Where supported
Through regulated Open Banking, and it can never move money. Not every bank is available.
Through selected partners
Wisemium shows you what is worth acting on and hands you to an appropriate provider. Nothing changes without your approval.
Available now
You ask, and people at Wisemium take it on for you and come back with what they found. It is not an AI negotiating in the background. Regulated products are organised and routed to an authorised firm instead.
Coming later
Wisemium is built around a household, and letting more than one person into one is not finished yet.
What happens to a document after you share it.
Upload any document and Wisemium reads it for the facts that matter: provider, price, contract dates, account details. Everything it finds is filed in your Wise Vault straight away, and anything it can’t read confidently, it leaves blank rather than guessing.
Wisemium is deliberate about what it actually knows versus what it’s assuming. A figure read straight from a bill is confirmed. A category worked out from a bank transaction is inferred. Anything it hasn’t seen evidence for stays marked unknown, never filled in with a plausible-looking guess.
For broadband, mobile and similar household services, Wise Negotiator can act on your behalf, with your approval at every step, and report back on what it found. For regulated products, insurance, loans, credit cards and mortgages, Wisemium organises and reminds, and routes you to an authorised partner instead of negotiating itself.
Keeping the everyday running of a household in one place.
Your Wise Vault holds the documents you’ve uploaded and the key dates read from them, so a renewal date, a policy number or a contract end date doesn’t have to be found again by digging through email or a drawer.
Upload an MOT certificate or a V5C and Wisemium recognises the vehicle it belongs to, linking it with any insurance or finance already on file so the full picture for that car or van sits in one place.
Uploading a newer bill for something you’ve already added doesn’t create a second, duplicate entry. Wisemium recognises it as the same service and updates the record, keeping whatever it already knew that the new document doesn’t mention.
Small habits that make a real difference.
Leaving a fixed-term contract early often costs more in exit fees than staying and switching at the right moment saves. It’s worth checking the end date before acting on any offer, however good it looks.
An older bill still shows what you were paying and on what terms, which gives Wisemium a baseline to compare against once a newer one arrives. It’s worth uploading even if it’s out of date.
A single provider for broadband, TV and mobile can simplify admin, but it isn’t automatically the best price. It’s worth checking what each service would cost separately before assuming the bundle is the deal.
What’s changed recently.
MOT certificates and V5C logbooks are recognised as vehicle documents, and Wisemium links them with any insurance or finance already on file, rather than filing them as an ordinary bill.
Streaming, software and membership subscriptions are now tracked through their own states, active, price changed, renewal approaching, so a change shows up as exactly that, not just a new upload.
Insurance, loans, credit cards and mortgages are now described as organised and filed, never as switched or negotiated, since Wisemium isn’t currently authorised to advise on or negotiate regulated products directly.
Capabilities available in Wisemium today.
A single, private place for every household document, searchable by what it is rather than what it’s called, with the key facts already read out for you.
For the services Wisemium is able to act on, Wise Negotiator can ask on your behalf, always with your approval first, and bring back what it finds.
Wisemium checks on the bills and services it manages in the background, so a renewal or a price change can surface on its own rather than waiting for you to notice.
