Pet insurance
Know which kind of cover your pet has, what a renewal changes, and get quotes when you’re ready.
Pet insurance renews every year and the price usually rises as your pet gets older. Wisemium keeps the policy and its renewal date with your other household costs, so the renewal is a decision rather than a surprise.
Quotes come from an FCA-authorised comparison service, not from Wisemium. Wisemium does not give insurance advice.

Nothing you tick here is saved. Add your policy to Wisemium and its renewal date is kept with it.
The four types
Accident only; time-limited, which pays for a condition for a set period, often 12 months; maximum benefit, which pays up to a limit per condition; and lifetime, which renews a yearly vet fees limit while the policy continues.
Pre-existing conditions
Most policies exclude conditions your pet had before the cover started. Moving to a new insurer can make a condition treated under the old policy pre-existing for the new one.
Older pets
Premiums usually rise with age, and many policies add a co-payment, a share of each claim you pay, once a pet reaches a set age.
